About Faith Evangelical Free Church

FEFC Mission
The Mission of our church is to glorify Christ, proclaim the Gospel, reach the lost, and to train and instruct Christians in the faith for service and daily living.
History
In 1981 a group of nine Christians began holding weekly Bible studies in their Prairie du Chien homes. As time passed, the worshipers decided to go public, holding their first official worship service in the basement of People’s State Bank on June 6, 1982. At the first service, the small group gained 42 new worshipers. Our church officially became a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) in March 1983. As the church grew, larger facilities were needed. In 1986 the church moved to Commerce Court Mall. The decision to build was made in 1990 and the first service in the current building was held in May 1991.
A new multipurpose addition was dedicated May 2004 to help us further serve the needs of our members and the community as our congregation has continued to grow.
This addition consists of three class rooms, a multipurpose facility (with gymnasium and platform area with sound equipment), commercial kitchen, additional bathrooms, and storage areas.
